Details:

The combination of cobalt blue with monochrome fabrics feels both fresh and classic at same time. All fabrics and batting are premium 100 cotton. Tumble dry, low heat or air dry flat if you prefer.

Cobalt is a King or queen size modern quilt 95 by inches with brilliant burst of blue at the - grunge modal in. I used quilters dream unbleached cotton in medium loft for the batting, which gives quilt a lusciously soft feel and beautiful drape. In the photos, it is on a queen size and gives drop of about 15 inches left, right foot bed. On a standard King mattress, each side would have drop of about 8 inches and 15 at the foot.

Handmade in the USA. Please feel free to contact me with any questions. I used traditional log cabin piecing in a contemporary way to create this bold design. Combined shipping is available.

The blue starburst at is surrounded by a combination of modern prints and batiks in black, white, indigo shades gray. I made the binding with same fabric as outer strip in white and indigo to create feel of a boundless edge. Using silver colored thread, I stitched parallel lines across the entire surface of quilt, giving that unique crinkled quilt texture and a simple, modern finish. The reverse side is made with a gray and white diagonal stripe print intersected by pieced column of fabrics from front.

Handmade in my non-smoking, pet free home quilting studio. Care: machine wash in cold water. The quilt has been machine washed and dried after construction, to shrink it its final dimensions. The binding was attached securely with two rounds of machine stitching to guarantee a lifetime durability in use and laundering.

This stunning, contemporary quilt could be the new focal point of any bedroom and would work on both a King or queen size bed.
